IMMIGRATION

| Print This Post Print This Post

The Americano believes that the United States can and should have a generous legal and documented immigration policy based on the needs of free markets and quality: a more effective approach in which free markets dictate the kind of professions and the skills our country needs. Immigrants should be expected to embrace the ideals of the U.S. Constitution and to adapt to the American way of life. Regulating legal and documented immigration according to criteria of equity and balance is one of the indispensable conditions for ensuring that immigrants are integrated into society with the guarantees required by recognition of their human dignity. We need to insist on respecting the rule of law, meaning total control of the border and the punishment of employers hiring people illegally. We will also renew our commitment to American values, language and history as the prerequisite for U.S. citizenship. The Americano believes that no political party should dangle the welfare state as a bribe in an attempt to buy immigrant votes.

Clever. Now you’re using “documented,” while every other time, and every other Republican continues to say “illegal immigrant,” or even “illegan alien.” You’ve got yourself a good advisor there.

“The Americano is a company of Gingrich Communications.” the other shoe drops.

  3. Tim Crump says:

Labeling anyone who disagrees with you as a “Republican” is hardly any better than using the term “illegal alien”…….
