If The cold war between the US and the former Soviet Union defined the bipolar world of the second half of the 20th century, this century will be shaped foremost by the dual relation between the US and China. For the past 30 years, China has experienced exponential growth to the point where now it is the third largest economy soon to overtake Japan as the second; the largest car producing country (13.79 million units); and the number one exporter of goods world-wide at almost $1 trillion last year.
