After the Sunday vote, President Barack Obama, joined by Vice President Joe Biden, made a statement to the nation following the final vote on health care reform in the House of Representatives, at the White House.

President Barack Obama launched yesterday a new political attempt to move his health care reform bill through Congress. The president continues seeking to build support for his last-ditch bid to pass a very unpopular bill.

John McCormack at “The Weekly Standard” informed that on Wednesday night President Barack Obama was going to host ten House Democrats who voted against the health care bill in November at the White House.

Republicans have already made clear they are not supporting the bill after the Senate’s historic 60-39 vote Saturday night to begin debate on the issue.
