While Roe v Wade has been the law of the land for over three decades now, the abortion debate continues to rage on in America. People from either side of the isle have taken to creating slogans for their respective positions, designating themselves as pro-life or pro-choice in an effort to highlight what they feel as the central point in this contentious issue.

In Mexico, amidst protests from pro-abortion groups in that country over recent initiatives to protect the unborn at the state level, Carmen Alba, director of the Institute for the Rehabilitation of Women and the Family (IRWF), cautioned that abortion is neither a “solution” nor a definitive end to a woman’s “problem.”
